Copper Canyon Elementary students earned top honors at the Salt Lake Regional and State National History Day competitions after diving into months of rigorous historical research. The young scholars chose complex topics aligned with this year’s theme, “Revolution, Reaction, Reform in History,” transforming their findings into original plays, detailed exhibits, and engaging documentaries.
The school is proudly celebrating multiple state champions, a Judges’ Choice recognition, and the prestigious Art and Culture in History award. Beyond the accolades, the experience challenged students to think critically and express themselves powerfully.
