Over 1200 elementary students from across Jordan School District traveled to Riverton High School for the annual Unified Sports Day. The students participated in a 50-yard dash, softball throw, long jump, and soccer.
Unified Sports Day is part of the Special Olympics Unified Sports program, which promotes social inclusion through sports. Students with and without disabilities competed side-by-side in events to end the school year with friendly competition, inclusion, and fun.
