Construction Underway at Daybreak Elementary

Daybreak Elementary School is getting an update as a new security door is being installed in the hallway connecting the school to the adjoining recreation center. This new door will allow the school to better function independently of the Daybreak Community Center during school hours and is scheduled to be completed before the school year begins.

New polycarbonate panels will also be installed around the running track to separate the fitness center from the gym below. The panels will still allow for circulation and airflow, but provide extra privacy between the fitness center and gym. This project is slated to be finished after the start of the school year.
