Diane Witt-Roper, a fifth-grade teacher at South Jordan Elementary, was celebrated at the fourth annual Honors in Education Gala. The gala honored twenty K-12 educators through a rigorous nomination process, recognizing those who make a meaningful impact in their communities.
The award ceremony took place at the Grand America and was hosted by the Deseret News and presenting sponsor Ken Garff for Good and the Robert H. and Katharine B. Garff Foundation. Diane received her award from Utah First Lady Abby Cox.
