Join us in congratulating John Graziano for receiving the very first “50-Years of Service Pin” in the history of Jordan School District, after working fifty remarkable years as a dedicated facilities services employee.
Superintendent Godfrey personally delivered the pin, offering his personal message of thanks to Mr. Graziano. They both enjoyed a quick walk down memory lane, as the long-time employee shared stories of how much change he has seen over the years. John started working for the District in 1976, fresh out of high school, in what was called ‘Labor Repair’ at the time. He told Dr. Godfrey, after being hired, he said he would work in JSD until something better came along, but it never did! John Graziano has worked hard throughout the years and is now Facility Project Coordinator.
Congratulations also go out to Lynn Visser who received his “40 Years of Service Pin” from the Superintendent on the same day. Mr. Visser started working in JSD in 1986 in ‘Labor Repair/Grounds’ and is now the Assistant Director of Facility Services.
We love to celebrate dedicated employees like John and Lynn who have played an important role in the support and education of thousands of students over the course of their combined 90 years of employment in JSD!
