She talked about the school’s ARUP blood drives which are the most successful in the state and how proud everyone is regarding the school’s status as a “National Unified Champion School.” Ashlynn said Copper Hills is a very diverse school with a wide variety of diverse clubs for students in which to participate. She said CHHS is known for its school spirit, being named number one in the State for their student section. She also talked with great pride and emotion about the successful “Paws for a Cause” fundraiser benefiting students and families in need in the community. Ashlynn concluded by saying CHHS is dedicated to lifting every student giving all a pathway to graduation.

He said it is a heavy lift for the schools, with a lot of people working together to move students forward, especially multi-language learners. Superintendent Godfrey congratulated Midas Creek, Riverton, Rose Creek, Welby, Monte Vista, South Jordan and Terra Linda Elementary Schools; as well as Sunset Ridge Middle School, saying what they have done is a huge accomplishment and something of which to be very proud.
Superintendent Godfrey thanked everyone involved in the planning and successful implantation of Health & Wellness Day 2026, saying he appreciates the Boards support of that day which is beneficial to students and families along with District employees. He also said the District is working on a 9/11 project sponsored by South Jordan City, which would bring in a touring museum, and some first responders who survived the tragedy, as an educational resource for students in the District.
