Celebrating Mountain Ridge High School
Anna Elggren, Student Body President, talked about the great pride students and staff take in being a part of Mountain Ridge High School where this year’s theme is “You’re Gonna Go Far.” She said Mountain Ridge is truly an incredible place where dedication, talent, and heart come together for excellence. Anna said students and the community came together to raise more than $126,009 in their holiday fundraiser benefiting the “Be Brave Baylee Foundation.” She also talked about the incredible success they have seen in the school’s amazing choir program, in athletics like swimming, football, girls wrestling, cheer, and the drum line. Anna said students achieve at high levels. Mountain Ridge High is proud to have the State Sterling Scholar in World Languages this year, and the DECA Chapter is among the top five in the state of Utah.
Anna concluded by saying everyone at Mountain Ridge embodies what it means to be a Sentinel and the school continues to go far as a community with respect and pride.
