It is a warm gift from the heart made possible by some kind and giving students at Falcon Ridge Elementary School. What is known as “The Blanket Project” began at Falcon Ridge years ago by 5th grade teachers Shanda Sorensen and Carolyn Videtich. The project has grown, year after year, thanks to the hard work and passion of everyone involved. This year the 5th grade group of students managed to finish 199 warm and wonderful blankets! The blankets will provide warmth and comfort to grieving children at the Bradley Center and children recovering at Primary Children’s Hospital.
Thank you to all the students, teachers, and parents for your time, donations, and your labor of love helping others this holiday season!
