Congratulations to the Herriman High School Boys Cross Country team on capturing the 6A State Championship! Led by coach Doug Soles, the Mustangs edged out American Fork to claim back-to-back 6A UHSAA Championships.
Jackson Spencer led the way for the Mustangs, winning the individual title and setting a Utah state championship record. Spencer completed the 5k course at Sugarhouse Park in 14:29.78 and beat his nearest competitor on the day by 48 seconds.
