Bingham High School has a long tradition of holiday giving through its annual “True Blue” charity drive. During an assembly filled with musical numbers and student performances, the school announce this year’s charities: Make-A-Wish Utah, Little Miracles, and HopeWarriors.

Every year, the school selects several charities to receive donations from its holiday fundraiser events. Last year students donated over $85,000 to the Kaur Sue Hamilton School and Make-A-Wish Utah, keeping alive a strong tradition of giving back to their community.

Kicking off the holiday fundraising drive, the “Season of Scarlet,” at Mountain Ridge High School, students announced this year’s charity partner, the Be Brave Baylee Foundation. The nonprofit helps burn survivors aid their recovery by covering the costs of attending a “Burn Camp,” where they connect with others recovering from severe burns.

The “Season of Scarlet” has become a powerful tradition at Mountain Ridge High School, with students raising over $142,000 last year for the Millie’s Princess Foundation.
