As warm weather arrives, more students will be walking to and from school. It’s crucial to prioritize safety while commuting. Please follow these guidelines at crosswalks and school zones:

• Wait for the crossing guard’s signal before proceeding.
• Always stop when the crossing guard is in the crosswalk.
• Do not park or stop in a crosswalk.
• Never pass a vehicle stopped at a crosswalk; a pedestrian may be crossing.
• Always follow posted speed limits in school zones.
• Be patient during busy school hours; allow extra time when dropping off or picking up students.
• Watch for children throughout the day, as they can be unpredictable.
• Never text and drive.
