Jordan School District Middle Schools and Communities Give Back for the Holidays

Middle School Students throughout Jordan School District partnered with their communities to give back. All December, under the supervision of school staff, students held events and drives to collect over $76,000 worth of money and donations for good causes in their communities. 

Some of the charities that benefited from Middle School charity drives are:

  • The Utah Food Bank
  • Angel Tree 
  • For the Kids
  • Jordan Education Foundation
  • Principal’s Pantries
  • The Road Home
  • NixonStrong Foundation 
  • Primary Children’s Hospital 
  • Christmas for Local Families
  • Veterans of America

Jordan School District High Schools Lift Communities with Holiday Fundraising from the Heart

It was another year of hard work and giving from the heart. Students in our high schools rallied for a number of charitable causes and their work paid off in a big way to benefit others. This year our six high schools raised a total of $625,921.90!!!

Congratulations Herriman High School and Community

It was a labor of love for Herriman High School students and the community. They joined forces in their holiday fundraising campaign and collected $ 113,052 which will support The Single Parent Project.

Congratulations Riverton High School and Community

It was a rush of tears, emotion, and pride as students and the community came together for this year’s Silver Rush. Riverton High School raised $207,667.24 which will go to support The Sharing Place.

It was a great month to be a Miner as students and the community came together in their holiday fundraising campaign. They did an awesome job collecting $78,604.24. All of the money will support Make-A-Wish and the NixonStrong Foundation
