It has been a labor of love for Jordan School District’s Digital Learning Team. Thanks to a federal ARPA Digital Inclusion Grant, the team was able to offer a free month-long computer literacy class to 100 parents and community members who have had little or no access to technology. After completing the course, each participant received a free computer.
Parents say the opportunity to receive a free computer and participate in free classes on how to use technology has changed their lives in ways they never imagined. They say it has made a huge difference in everything from helping their students with homework, to finding a job and connecting with their communities.
Thanks to our Digital Learning Team for making a difference in so many lives!
