Students at JATC South Celebrate Thanksgiving Fun Early with Frozen “Turkey Bowling”

Students at the Jordan Academy for Technology and Careers (JATC) celebrated Thanksgiving early by hosting a fun game of “Frozen Turkey” bowling. They set up a turkey bowling alley in the atrium of the school and bowled frozen turkeys, cornish game hens, and wig heads from the barbering and hair design class down lanes hoping to get a strike. Students signed up and competed in brackets hoping to bowl three strikes in a row, also known as a “turkey” or six strikes in a row, also known as a “wild turkey.” Students who rose to the top in the game were  awarded prizes.
