Students from the JATC-South Welding Program spent some time on Utah’s Capitol Hill to share their experiences with lawmakers and school superintendents. The students showcased items they made in their welding class. They also discussed safety gear and prospective careers in the welding field.
The field trip was a part of “CTE Day on the Hill,” where dozens of programs from around the state were featured to celebrate CTE Month.
Great job students and staff for representing Jordan School District. Keep up the great work!
