It was a somber moment of remembrance to honor victims of the September 11th terrorist attacks. Students, faculty, staff, first responders, and members of the community gathered outside of Hidden Valley Middle School for a “Sunrise Salute to Patriot Day.”
Everyone met at the flagpole to participate, saluting and paying tribute to our military and emergency service personnel who responded on 9/11 twenty-two years ago.
Hidden Valley Middle students performed patriotic musical numbers and honored all past and present military personnel, as well as police, fire, and first responders. It was an opportunity to express gratitude for everyone who serves to protect the many freedoms we enjoy every day.
