It was a family night of fun at Columbia Elementary School and there was a big surprise in store for students. The school held its annual book fair this week for all the little bookworms who love to read.
This year, Santa Claus made a surprise appearance and he spent an hour or so reading to students and their families. Mr. Claus also brought hot cocoa to share with everyone while he read to them.
Thanks to Santa and the PTA for making this a great kick off to the holiday season and an inspiration for students to keep up their love for reading.
