365 Jordan School District girls joined 1,700 9th-12th grade students from around Utah at the Mountain America Expo Center in Sandy for the annual SheTech Explorer Day. The one-day event helps young women see themselves growing into future careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
Students met with executives and mentors from tech companies and universities at the event to learn more about available opportunities. The conference allowed participants to see real examples of successful women in careers as scientists, engineers, analysts, and more.
Thank you to the hosts of SheTech Explorer Day for allowing JSD students to collaborate and learn about future careers in STEM and Tech. It was an excellent educational opportunity.
