Hidden Valley Middle School Commemorates Patriot Day with a “Sunrise Slaute” to Honor 9/11 Victims and First Responders

Hidden Vally Middle School Students perform a song It was a solemn moment of reflection as the Bluffdale community gathered to honor victims of the September 11th terrorist attacks. Students, faculty, staff, first responders, community leaders, and area residents came together outside Hidden Valley Middle School for a “Sunrise Salute to Patriot Day.”

They all gathered at the flagpole to participate in a moment of silence, saluting and paying tribute to military and emergency service personnel who bravely responded on 9/11 twenty-three years ago.

Hidden Valley Middle School students performed patriotic musical numbers and took time to honor all past and present military personnel along with police, fire, and first responders. It was a chance to show gratitude for those who selflessly serve to protect the freedoms we cherish every day.
