It is an opportunity for students to spend two days learning about agriculture and its impacts on their lives. This year, more than 4,500 7th grade students from throughout Jordan School District attended the two-day event at the Bastian Agriculture Center in South Jordan.
7th Grade Agricultural Days brings specialists from dozens of different ag-related organizations together with businesses to provide a hands-on educational experience. Students learned about different professions in the ag industry as well as how food makes its way from farms to the dinner table. There were plenty of farm animals to visit and students really got to experience the true diversity of agriculture.
Great job to everyone involved in organizing such an engaging, hands-on event!
