It was a fun and reflective morning at Mountain Ridge High School as students kicked off their annual holiday fundraising campaign with emotional videos, fantastic performances, and just plain fun. All the money collected this year will go to the local Millie’s Princess Foundation, which is dedicated to providing financial support and hope to families affected by childhood cancer. The students didn’t waste any time trying to break the fundraising goal from prior years. Before the assembly was over, the collection jug made its way through the crowd and students responded generously with hundreds of dollars already donated.
