The giving spirit at Elk Ridge Middle School helped lift the hearts of dozens of local Angels with the help and generosity of the South Jordan community. Student Body Officers (SBOs) led the school effort to raise money and gifts to help local kids and families through the Angel Tree Project. In total, 57 kids, also known as Angels, were helped by the generosity of local donors.
Students, staff, and community volunteers spent months planning and organizing the event, making sure the Angels that were supported by the school charity drive received gifts and items they needed, as well as special gifts that they wished for during the holiday season. Principal Bryan Leggat said, “The impact of this project extends beyond material gifts; it fosters a sense of community, compassion, and hope that resonates with everyone involved.”
To everyone who contributed to making the Elk Ridge Middle School charity drive a remarkable success, way to go! Your kindness and generosity have genuinely made a difference, spreading joy and warmth during this special season.
