The winter lineup is here and trained professionals are ready to offer a variety of classes for Jordan School District families free of charge. Winter classes at the Jordan Family Education Center begin this week and offer a variety of classes including how to better handle anxiety, deal with adolescence, anger management, and much more.
On Thursday, January 9, there will be a one-night seminar offered called “Co-Parenting Through Divorce.” This seminar is from 7 – 8:30 p.m. and you must register by calling 801-565-7442.
The Jordan Family Education Center provides support services and classes for JSD families and students. The services are provided by Jordan school psychologists, counselors, and school psychology interns. In addition to classes, they offer:
- Support Groups
- Short-term counseling on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings
- A Lending Library, with over 1000 books to support family needs in a variety of areas
