Daybreak Elementary Hosts Hands-on Family STEM Night

Daybreak STEM Night Families filled the halls of Daybreak Elementary at the school’s STEM Night, an event designed to showcase what students have been learning during their weekly science, technology, math, and engineering (STEM) breakout class. Dozens of hands-on experiences were set up in stations for parents and students to explore, each focusing on one or multiple science, technology, math, and engineering lessons.

Each week at Daybreak Elementary, teachers build classes that incorporate STEM areas into hands-on lessons. Students then break into STEM groups of their choosing. The program is designed to engage students in lessons they might feel passionate about.

Great job, Daybreak Elementary faculty and staff, creating an outstanding hands-on experience.
