Students at Copper Hills High School are among the biggest blood donors in the state, and their latest blood drive proved to be no exception. ARUP had all hands on deck for donations as the Grizzlies’ latest blood drive collected 159 donations, which will go on to save 477 lives. All blood donated to ARUP during the drive will remain in Utah and help patients at the University of Utah Health Hospitals and Huntsman Cancer Institute.
Kudos to the outstanding work done by the Copper Hills HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) in organizing a massive day of giving. The next Copper Hills blood drive is scheduled for December 18. Great job, Grizzlies!
