This week, Jordan School District would like to #ThankACoach at each of our six UHSAA Member High Schools for the amazing work they do. A great coach is about more than just winning games. They teach skills, build character, and grow community in their schools. Today, we recognize Herriman High School girls’ wrestling coach Josh Tibbs.
Here is what Herriman High had to say about Coach Tibbs.
“Josh Tibbs has built a top-tier girls’ wrestling program at Herriman High School, defined by its student-focused culture. This environment prioritizes more than just wrestling technique; it’s a space where athletes develop character and lifelong skills that benefit them long after graduation. Coach Tibbs’s commitment is evident in his active presence—you’ll often find him building relationships with students before and after school or during lunch, actively encouraging new athletes to join his program. He coaches with an infectious positivity, which is the foundation for the meaningful and positive relationships he fosters with every athlete.”
Thank you, Coach Tibbs, for all that you do for the Mustangs at Herriman High!
