There were baskets, smiles, cheers, and money raised at Herriman High School as Copper Mountain and Mountain Creek Middle Schools met up for a charity basketball game. Copper Mountain donated funds raised from ticket sales and concessions during the annual hardwood face-off to the Utah Food Bank and the Jordan Education Foundation. Mountain Creek donated their proceeds to The Giving Grinch.
The Copper Mountain choir performed the Star-Spangled Banner, and the dance companies for both schools supplied the halftime entertainment. Mountain Creek prevailed on the court, but everyone was a winner after a fun community night for some great causes.
