In a heartwarming holiday event, Santa Claus made a memorable appearance at Copper Hills High School’s CH Pals “Winter Social,” delighting students involved in the peer tutoring program. The surprise visit was arranged by Jordan School District bus driver Greg Plett, who drives some of the students in the peer tutoring program and transforms into Jolly St. Nick during the holidays.
The Winter Social event featured fun activities like gingerbread house building and provided students with an opportunity to socialize with their friends. The CH Pals program connects students in the special education program with peers at the school, to ensure that all students feel welcome and valued as a part of the school’s community.
This joyful gathering was a perfect way to spread holiday cheer and warmth, reminding us all about the importance of kindness and friendship this festive season. Thank you to all the students and staff who made this memorable day possible!
