Students at Riverton High School kicked off the holiday season with the annual Silver Rush assembly. This year’s charitable fundraising drive will go to benefit We Give Hope and the Jordan District’s Mental Health Access Program (MHAP). MHAP supports families in accessing, navigating, and receiving needed mental health services through local mental health providers within Jordan District.
The Silver Rush tradition has become such a vital part of the community that Mayor Natalie Hall of Bluffdale and Mayor Trent Staggs of Riverton proclaimed it “Silver Rush Season” in their cities from December 1, 2025, through December 19, 2025. Last year’s Silver Rush beneficiary The Refuge Utah, received over $170,000 to help victims of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.
Thank you to the students, staff, families, and alumni at Riverton High for an amazing tradition of holiday giving.
