Special guests from Brazil joined students in Ms. Mueller’s Portuguese dual language immersion class at Bluffdale Elementary School. The group of Brazilian students stopped by during their trip to Utah to share their culture and experiences growing up in a Portuguese-speaking country. They even brought some of their favorite candies and treats all the way from South America. Bluffdale students showcased what a day in an American school is like, bringing their new friends to lunch, English class, and recess to learn how to play American football.
Thank you to everyone who helped bring two groups of students from across the globe together for an enriching cultural exchange for all involved.
