The theme for Oakcrest Elementary this year is “Oakcrest Rocks!” Students are rocking and rolling to success by embracing the school values to roll with the challenges, rock with kindness, give a rockstar effort, and roll out new ideas. To encourage and support the school in its mission to rock this school year, “The Superintendents of Rock” performed a concert for Oakcrest students. The superintendents, including Jordan School District’s own Dr. Anthony Godfrey, entertained the students with classic rock cover songs and even an impromptu dance contest with teachers and staff.
