The future of technology is being shaped by students throughout Jordan School District at the SheTech Explorer Day. This year, an impressive 472 high school CTE (Career and Technical Education) students from across JSD traveled to the Mountain America Expo Center in Sandy to participate in the expo, an event dedicated to activating interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) careers.
The CTE students dove headfirst into high-tech, hands-on workshops, from the precision of robotics and coding to the creativity of digital design. Jordan School District students didn’t just observe—they built, programmed, and collaborated. The SheTech Explorer Day is designed to get students excited about complex career fields and turning “emerging technologies” into practical skills they can take back to their classrooms and future jobs.
Thank you to all the teachers, bus drivers, and CTE educators who helped make this year’s expo memorable.
