Riverton High School hosted the 2026 Jordan School District Chinese Culture Festival, bringing together students from across the District to celebrate Chinese language learning and cultural exchange.
The festival included a Chinese language Jeopardy-style competition, cultural activity stations, a student talent show, and a new student and parent panel discussion. During the panel, high school students and parents shared their experiences in the Chinese Dual Language Immersion (DLI) and Bridge programs, encouraging younger students and families to continue studying Chinese through high school and highlighting the opportunities language learning can provide.
Special thanks to Carolyn Gough, Dr. Amanda Bollinger, and Rochelle Waite for presenting awards.
The event was also supported by student leaders from the RMR Chinese Club and the Chinese Bridge programs at Riverton High School and Mountain Ridge High School, who volunteered many hours to help organize the festival, prepare materials, and run activities.
