March Madness started early as teams from Copper Hills, Herriman, and West Jordan High School traveled to the Delta Center to compete in the Special Olympics Unified Basketball state championship. A total of 32 teams from across the state earned their way to play on the same court as the Utah Jazz, with four coming from Jordan School District.
The teams competed on the hardwood all season long to make it to the championship round, refining their skills, working on their jumpers, showing great teamwork, and having a great time in the process. A special congrats goes out to the Herriman High Blue team, who took home the title in their division.
Thank you to all the athletes, coaches, volunteers, and athletes who have made the 2026 Unified basketball season such a success!
