America’s 250th birthday is fast approaching, and South Jordan Mayor Dawn Ramsey and Jordan School District Superintendent Anthony Godfrey teamed up to help students celebrate. Mayor Ramsey brought each fifth grader at South Jordan’s nine elementary schools a sticker replica of the History in a Flag mosaic mural on display at South Jordan City Hall. Dr. Godfrey and Mayor Ramsey discussed American history with the students. They asked trivia questions about what they had learned in their study of United States history and civics this school year for a chance to win a special-edition America 250 pin.
