Oakcrest Elementary has ceremonially renamed itself Oakcrestville for the upcoming school year in honor of Dr. Seuss. The school aims to bring the author’s spirit of possibility, adventure, and learning to its students through Seuss-inspired celebrations throughout the year. As part of the festivities, students will perform “Seussical: The Musical” as their school production.

School administrators say the theme sets an engaging tone for the year, inspiring students to find joy in learning.
