The sidewalk at Elk Ridge Middle School took students through time at the school’s annual Chalk Art Festival. This year’s theme was eras of art, starting with prehistoric pieces depicting cave art and dinosaurs, moving through ancient, medieval, the age of invention, and roaring neons, and ending with the digital dawn of contemporary and future-inspired works. Students designed and created all the pieces during a fun school day, getting dirty as they made memorable, temporary works of art.
