It was an exciting day for middle school students as they joined forces competing in a Unified Sports Soccer Tournament at the RSL Zion’s Bank Outdoor Stadium in Herriman. Seven Jordan School District middle schools, along with one Alpine District middle school competed. Unified sports focuses on inclusion, empathy, and sport. The tournament brought together students of all abilities, playing together on teams in five divisions. They hit the big stage playing field at Zion’s stadium, in front of very enthusiastic fans having fun, building friendships, and celebrating their winning ways.
