Jordan District Represents at Salt Lake Bees Teacher Appreciation Night

Jordan School District was well represented at the Ballpark during Salt Lake Bees Teacher Appreciation Night. Over 1,000 employees took advantage of half-priced tickets to see the Bees take on the Sugar Land Space Cowboys with a postgame fireworks show on Saturday night.
Two people with Jordan School District ties were recognized on the field prior to the game. Rick Minor, a teacher at Mountain Ridge High School, was given the honor of delivering the game ball to the mound. Rick is retiring following this school year after an incredible 34 years working in education. Kaylee Bucio Prudente, a student at West Jordan Middle School, sang a stirring rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner.
Congratulations to Kaylee and Rick and thank you to the Salt Lake Bees for hosting Teacher Appreciation Night.
