Herriman Elementary School Students Have Big Hearts in Holiday Giving

Students at Herriman Elementary School proved they have some pretty big hearts, especially when it comes to helping others over the holidays. The student council decided no child should have to go without breakfast cereal, especially over the winter holiday break. So, they rallied the entire school and did a cereal box donation drive, and it was a huge success. The students collected a total of 556 boxes of cereal!

Before donating the cereal to a local food pantry, the student council, along with volunteers, set up the cereal boxes in a domino course in the hallways throughout the school. Then, students and staff lined the hallways to watch the boxes fall in a perfect domino run.

Congratulations, Herriman Elementary students! You are a great example of the giving spirit which is so appreciated this holiday season and throughout the year.
