Nine Jordan District Students Receive Film School Scholarships at JSD Video Showcase

Scholarship winners and families at JSD Video ShowcaseFatCats Theaters in Bluffdale was the site of a celebration of a year of hard work for high school students enrolled in video programs throughout Jordan School District. Students showcased their films and videos on the big screen during the JSD Video Showcase. For nine exceptionally talented students, there was also a plot twist at the end of the event as they were surprised with “Rising Artist” scholarships from the New York Film Academy. Each of the nine scholarships provides $20,000 a year in tuition assistance to students who attend NYFA at their Los Angeles or New York campus.
