Hayden Peak Elementary School hosted Literacy Night, bringing students and their parents together for pizza, prizes, and learning about reading. Students enjoyed a movie night in the gym as they laid out blankets and watched Monsters, Inc. While the students were having a great time watching the movie, parents were learning about ways to support their children’s reading. Teachers helped parents understand the Acadience Reading score system and gave them simple, practical tips they could implement at home to help their children become even better readers.
