They are young people with big hearts who want to give back to the community. On Friday, students who attend the Jordan Virtual Learning Academy in grades K-12, came together in-person for a day of service to benefit others in the communities where they live. It was an opportunity for the online learning students to spend time together making a difference in the lives of others.

The students participated in tying blankets for local hospitals, making yarn snow balls for students with special needs at the Kauri Sue Hamilton School, writing thank you cards for local service members, and coloring cards for the elderly.

They include administrative assistants, classroom aides, cafeteria workers, maintenance workers, bus drivers, custodians and others who support educators, school leadership, and students in our schools.
