Thank You to All the Amazing JSD Education Support Professionals

Please take a minute to join us in thanking all of the Education Support Professionals working beside you today. This is National Education Support Professionals Day honoring a long list of professionals who keep schools running smoothly. They include administrative assistants, classroom aides, cafeteria workers, maintenance workers, bus drivers, custodians and others who support educators, school leadership, and students in our schools. These professionals do their part in making public schools a place where students can be safe, learn, grow, and achieve.

Education Support Professionals perform a wide variety of jobs which promote quality education, foster positive learning environments, offer nutritious meals, provide reliable transportation and maintain safe and clean schools for everyone.

We appreciate our amazing Education Support Professionals today and every single day!

Tree Planting Day at Riverton Elementary School Fun and Environmentally Friendly

It was a day to dig in and work together for future generations. Students, staff, and parents participated with Tree Utah in a tree planting day at Riverton Elementary School. They invested in the future by planting 20 trees throughout the school property. It was an opportunity for everyone to join forces for future generations of students.

More than 25 years ago, the School Community Council invested in the future of Riverton Elementary by creating an Outdoor Classroom. Their foresight provided respite for students and teachers during the pandemic. Similarly, Tree Utah is enabling the school to look forward, perhaps another 25 years, to future generations enjoying themselves at Riverton Elementary, finding respite in the shade of 20 trees just planted on school grounds.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this amazing project!

South Valley School Halloween Carnival Fun!

There were lots of creative costumes, smiles, and memories made during the South Valley School Halloween Carnival.

Fun at Fox Hollow Elementary Celebrating Successful Fundraiser

It was a fun day filled with lots of laughter at Fox Hollow Elementary School. Teachers, staff, and Principal Amy Adams were all good sports as students turned them into human sundaes, threw pies in their faces, even taped Principal Adams to the wall using duct tape. One teacher allowed students to shave her head, while another puckered up to kiss a baby cow. It was all to celebrate the school’s successful fundraiser!

Congratulations to everyone at Fox Hollow Elementary School.
