Color Daybreak with Kindness This School Year!

Picture of school staff
The first day of school was full of color at Daybreak Elementary as students arrived to a big balloon arch.  Administrators and staff lined the sidewalk cheering them on as they made their way to the playground.

The school mascot, Bubbles, was on hand to make sure all students were feeling the excitement of the first day. Parents were thrilled to get pictures with the beloved mascot too!

Teachers greeted students at the playground, where balloons again marked where everyone was supposed to line up. Teachers wore their colorful shirts with the school’s theme reminding everyone to Color Daybreak with Kindness!

Way to go Daybreak Elementary School! Have a fun, kind and successful school year.

JSD School Leaders Find Inspiration at UEN’s 2022 Leading Schools Summit

Picture of PrincipalsThey say the best leaders are learners. That’s why a number of Jordan School District principals and school leaders joined others from across the State for the UEN Leading Schools Summit. They all came together for several days of collaboration and inspiration. It was a face to face experience where principals were able to share challenges they are experiencing in schools and then work together on ideas to tackle and overcome those challenges.

It was an opportunity to connect with other principals and gain support of mentors as we prepare for a successful new school year.

We are proud of our principals and other school leaders, always looking for ways to grow and participate in the learning process even over the summer months!

Custodians Hard at Work Over Summer Months Making Schools & Buildings Sparkle

Custodian Cleaning FloorsThey are polishing floors, deep cleaning bathrooms and making every inch of our schools and buildings sparkle. Take a minute out of your day to say thank you to custodians who are hard at work over the summer months to make sure students return to schools that are clean, well maintained and welcoming.

These valuable employees contribute to the important first impressions in our schools and buildings, they lend a helping hand wherever they are needed and they never miss a beat, even in the summer heat. They are such an important part of the Jordan School District family.

Thank you, custodians!
