About 2,000 teachers and school counselors representing school districts from around the state, including Jordan, enjoyed a day focusing on their wellness and professional development. There were breakout session on stress management, mental health, and one led by Jordan School District Wellness Administrator McKinley Withers called “Skills for Personal and Professional Fulfillment.” Attendees were also treated to a wide array of swag provided by local businesses.

One big highlight of the day was a concert by the popular “Superintendents of Rock.” Jordan’s own Superintendent Anthony Godfrey is a member of the band which travels throughout Utah, often performing at events supporting education.
