Hayden Peak Students Explore Future Job Opportunities During Immersive Career Week

Students at Hayden Peak Elementary took a deep dive into an expansive “Career Week” organized by their school counselor, Natasha Robison. The initiative focused on connecting classroom learning to professional success.

The week featured daily themes, including a visit from career and technical education (CTE) students, lunch with local first responders, and an assembly led by a UVU engineering professor. One of the highlights was “Career Day,” where professionals from 14 fields, ranging from construction to medicine, shared the specific educational milestones and skills required to enter their industries.

To inspire the students, an “Educational Journey” bulletin board displayed the college paths of every teacher in the building. By the end of the week, students didn’t just have new dream jobs, they had a roadmap to achieve them.
