Sunset Ridge Middle School Students Pay Tribute on Patriot Day

Students, faculty, and staff gathered Monday morning to remember the victims and those who sacrificed so much on 9/11 in the terrorist attacks 22 years ago. Principal Audrey Fish led a moment of remembrance, while students sang the national anthem and held a flag raising ceremony.

While the middle school students weren’t yet born on that tragic day, Patriot Day is an opportunity to educate students and honor all past and present military personnel along with police, fire, and first responders for protecting the freedoms we enjoy every day.
