Members of the Jordan School District Board of Education recognized some amazing students at Tuesday’s monthly business meeting.
The Board celebrated Copper Hills High School. Student representatives said they are proud to be at Copper Hills High, a school where they say everyone is welcome and student achievement a priority.
The Board also recognized JSD high school Unified Soccer Teams, from Riverton High School, West Jordan High School, Copper Hills High School, and Herriman High School, who took the field at the state preliminary competitions recently.
The Herriman High School Unified soccer team was at the Board meeting and they stood to be recognized for making it to the State finals held at the America First Field, REAL Salt Lake Soccer Stadium in Sandy.
