High Fives for West Jordan High School Seniors During Inspirational “Graduation Walk”
It was a fun and somewhat emotional walk down memory lane for West Jordan High School seniors the day before graduation. The students participated in a “Graduation Walk,” where they walked up and down the halls of their former elementary and middle schools greeting students and connecting with former teachers.
The graduates also use the walk to inspire and encourage younger students to take advantage of their educational opportunities and dream big for a bright future.

Summer Food Service Program: Free Meals for Kids 18-Years-Old and Younger
Jordan School District is once again offering a Summer Food Service Program by participating in the USDA’s Seamless Summer Option (SSO).
This program provides nutritious meals free of charge for kids 18-years-old and younger from Monday, June 5 through Friday, August 4. ***There will be no meal service on June 19, July 4, and July 24.
Free meals will be provided to all children 18-years-old and younger at the sites and times as follows:
- Columbia Elementary, 3505 W 7800 S, West Jordan
- Heartland Elementary, 1451 W 7000 S, West Jordan
- Majestic Elementary, 7430 S Redwood Road, West Jordan
- Oquirrh Elementary, 7165 S Paddington Road, West Jordan
- South Valley School, 8400 S Redwood Road, West Jordan
**Breakfast service for all sites: 8:30-9:30 a.m.
** Lunch service for all sites: 11:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m.
Programa de servicio de alimentos de verano: comidas gratis para niños de 18 años y menores
El Distrito Escolar de Jordan ofrece una vez más un Programa de Servicio de Alimentos de Verano al participar en la Opción de Verano Sin Costuras (SSO) del USDA.
Este programa ofrece comidas nutritivas sin cargo para niños de 18 años y menores desde el lunes 5 de junio hasta el viernes 4 de agosto. ***No habrá servicio de comidas el 19 de junio, el 4 de julio y el 24 de julio.
Se proporcionarán comidas gratuitas a todos los niños menores de 18 años en los sitios y horarios de la siguiente manera:

South Valley Students Have Fun with Friends Celebrating End of School Year
It was a day to cherish precious memories of the past year and look forward to what lies ahead. South Valley School students spent a morning full of fun at their End of the Year Social. Students enjoyed yearbook signing, snow cones, popcorn, bubble games, four square, sidewalk chalk and had a lunch of burgers and fries.
